In 1982 Founder Tom Foehl, a bearing and power transmission salesman for decades, set out to start his own company so that he could dictate the level of service his customers were to receive. He opened Bearings, Belts & Chain, Inc. in 1983 and it quickly became an industry leader in product knowledge and customer service. Tom put together his customer service team together in the mid-eighties and all these members are still with the company today.
